Customer Success Associate - Life Insurance

New York City, NY | Full-timeAbout this positionThe Customer Success Rep is responsible for insuring a superb customer experience, helping customers complete their life insurance application process and making sure their policy is issued quickly and efficiently. This is a great opportunity to learn about the life insurance industry and products, and to get a hands-on experience from working in a fast-paced startup environment. Work schedule requires flexibility, and includes working evening / weekend shifts.Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support customers application process, from submission to carrier through policy issuing.
  • Coordinate and hastily follow up with customers, carriers and vendors to make sure all outstanding case requirements are met
  • Communicate with clients and address clients' questions about the application process
  • Understand customer needs and wants, collect feedback and provide insights that will help drive a superb customer experience
  • Master all carrier workflows, application and underwriting processes, and software systems necessary to carry out your responsibilities
  • Collaborate and support sales and case management efforts to ensure a superior and seamless customer experience
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree
  • 1-3 years of work experience is required
  • Experience working in customer success - a plus
  • Highly organized person with superb attention to details
  • Capacity to prioritize workload and work in fast-paced environment
  • High sense of urgency and problem-solving state of mind
  • Ability to communicate consistently, precisely and professionally in both verbal and written communication with internal and external customers
  • Honesty and integrity
