About this position

We are seeking an Agent Support Manager to serve as a relationship manager, primary point of contact, and direct resource for a roster of life insurance agents. This agent-facing role will focus on building relationships and providing real-time support to ensure their success. As the Agent Support Manager, you will engage with agents to assist and empower them to achieve optimal levels of success, proactively identifying their needs and implementing corresponding solutions. The role will also entail close collaboration with Business Development and Marketing teams to recruit and activate agents.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support and energize a team of agents by identifying their needs and pain points, providing appropriate resources, honing skills, and offering effective feedback through clear and concise communication
  • Develop and maintain direct relationships with each sales agent, engaging in one-on-one and group sessions for system training and onboarding assistance as needed
  • Work cross functionally with BD and Ops departments to recruit and activate agents, and define metrics of success
  • Master our internal systems and workflows and develop a deep understanding of Sproutt products in order to serve as an effective internal resource
  • Identify, manage, and track agent performance
  • Continuously refine and improve upon best practices, agent resources, and metrics of success

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Agent Success, Client Services, or Relationship Management role
  • Prior insurance industry experience – a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to establish and maintain credibility with new and existing agents
  • High sense of urgency; Capacity to prioritize workload and work in a fast-paced environment
  • A teamwork mindset – take ownership of your work AND your team’s success, and take initiative
  • Resourceful, driven, and capable of multitasking in a fast paced environment
  • Honesty & integrity
